Hard Work Will Inevitably Lead to a Successful Life

As Margaret Thatcher quotes 'I do not know anyone who has gotten to the top without hard work. That is the recipe. It will not always get you to the top, but it will get you pretty near.'

Hard work is the building block to success. It is evident that there are people who rely on their intelligence to attain success. But a person who puts in consistent and constant efforts will reach wherever he wants as long as he clearly sets his goals.

From a common man who is a mason, driver, teacher, doctor, to a manager or entrepreneur, it is not his genes that has taken him to ladder of success but it his consistent efforts to succeed by initiating a lot of work.

Though in the present turbulent & technological world, people might stress on smart work and not hard work, however, eventually it is the latter with a purpose accompanied by smart work that will help you reach your goals to achieve success.

Some examples are mother nurturing and upbringing the child, a child studying well and excelling in activities and academics, a sportsman practicing and preparing for a great event, the great inventors like Marconi, Edison etc who has made this a better place to live. None of the above could have succeeded further if they did not strive and struggle in their particular areas.

Some people have the notion that luck plays a better. Well, this is absolutely false. A good example of this is winning a lottery where you earn without your own conscientious efforts. This neither gives you contentment nor happiness. Person might be lucky once or twice but not always. If we genuinely want to achieve something, it is only our tough grind that will take us to the top. In other words, hard work is the harbinger of success. Besides, when accompanied by constancy of purpose by rethinking on his or her goals will take him wherever he wants to. Though, sometimes, luck might play a small role in our life, yet it is important to realize that the success attained by luck is always temporary whereas hard work yields permanent success.
As Thomas Alva Edison says 'Genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration.' This clearly implies that to attain success we need two buddies i.e. hard work and be consistently constant to our purpose by being goal-oriented.

Also it is worth noting that an individual's creative talents and intelligence grows if he works hard by perspiring constantly and consistently. All great value producers like Edison have believed and known for sure, had they relied on their intelligence alone, they might have not contributed anything to this world. It was only their smart work accompanied by lot of donkey work which has helped them attain success and make a difference to this world.

Let me tell you of my own example in school. I was a student who was excellent in academics though not so intelligent. However, I kept shining in class especially in academics mainly because I had the capability to work extremely hard. Eventually, when you strive a lot, it leads and shows you the path to work smart. The intelligence develops by itself.

Striving hard can also help to develop and augment one's brain's capacity in terms of intelligence and talents provided a person is ready to strive regularly by keeping his mindset on his or her goals.

Nevertheless, maintaining a tough grind is not just a 200 meter sprint where you can run a short distance and then stop but in fact a marathon. So never give up. Work hard persistently and keep going to climb the ladder of success which will inevitably lead to the path of success.

Thus for all those readers who want to be highly successful in their life, I must reiterate that the hard work is the main key in achieving your goals and accomplishing success.
